Welcome to Gholson ISD
Gholson ISD combines the welcoming atmosphere of a small, rural school with high academic standards. For 11 of the last 12 years, GISD has been rated either Exemplary or Recognized by the Texas Education Agency and we expect to be rated Exemplary for the 2008-2009 school year. The District has achieved this success through a strong sense of teamwork and a shared vision among parents, faculty, students, staff, administation, and the GISD Board of Trustees.

Required immunizations for students may be obtained at the Waco-McLennan County Public Health Clinic located at 225 W.Waco Drive.
