Gholson ISD Receives Award

Gholson School was awarded 2007 Honor Roll Status by the Texas Business & Education Coalition (TBEC). 385 schools in the state of Texas achieved this honor in 2007, and only 2 other schools in McLennan County were on the TBEC Honor Roll. The award is based on student achievement for the previous 3 years.

According to the TBEC award committee, "It is a great honor to be selected as a TBEC Honor Roll school because your school has achieved academic excellence year in and year out, displaying the energy, innovation, determination, and teamwork that motivates, challenges, and prepares students for the future."
