SWEET 16
It was July 16th, 2006, my sweet sixteenth
birthday. I was awakened by my alarm clock. I sat up, stretched, turned off my
alarm clock, got out of my bed, turned on my light and got dressed. I turned
around to face the picture of my boyfriend Devin, picked it up and kissed it. I
set it down and went downstairs, expecting some kind of a surprise in the
kitchen, but nothing out of the ordinary was to be found. I yelled upstairs for
mom and dad. There was no answer. I went upstairs to get mom and dad. I walked
into their room, turned on the light and jumped on mom's bed, but to my amazement,
no one was there.
